Heli Expo Asia 2023 Sees More than 15,000 Visitors at the Exhibition

TANGERANG, NETRALNEWS.COM – More than 15,378 people have registered to attend the Heli Expo Asia (Hexia) 2023 exhibition that takes place at Cengkareng Heliport in Tangerang, Banten, on June 15-18, 2023.

The event, which was opened by the CEO of Heli Expo Asia, T Iskandar Muda, together with Director of Airworthiness and Aircraft Operations, Capt M Mauludin, and General Chairperson of INACA Denon Prawiraatmadja, set a new history in the Indonesian aerospace industry as the first helicopter exhibition to be held in the country.

The exhibition, which was attended by 33 exhibitors from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Australia, featured six interesting helicopters, including the Bell 429, AS 365 N3 owned by the Indonesian Air Police Directorate, Bell 206 JetRanger III owned by the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic at Curug, AS 365 N3+ owned by the National SAR, and the Bell 505 of Whitesky Aviation.

“Public enthusiasm for this event is very high, and proving a strong interest in the aerospace industry in Indonesia. Heli Expo Asia 2023 is an important meeting place for aviation stakeholders,” said the event’s press release, as quoted from a written statement received by Netralnews, on Sunday (06/18/2023).

At the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to experience the sensation of a helicopter joyflight for free, and 12 lucky people were selected through a lottery that would be an unforgettable experience for the lucky ones.

In addition, visitors were also able to try various helicopter simulators and fixed wing aircraft simulators. Visitors could also visit exhibition booths from manufacturers of Airbus Helicopters, Bell Helicopters, MRO Helicopters, and various other aerospace industry supporters.
